The year is divided into twelve months, each of which is 28 to 31 days long. All years have 365 days, except for leap years, which have 366 days.
The months of the year, in order, are January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December.
January has 31 days, February normally has 28, but in a leap year has 29.
March, April, May, June, July, August, September and October each have thirty-one days.
November and December each have thirty days.
Leap years are years that are divisible by four except for years that are divisible by one hundred but not by four hundred. There was no leap year in 2100, but there was a leap year in 2000.
The years in a leap year follows the sequence: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December.
