As the world eagerly awaits the release of the new iPhone 13, one of the primary questions many have is: how much will it cost? Unfortunately, Apple has not yet released an official price for its upcoming flagship, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take a few educated guesses.
The cost of an iPhone has steadily increased in recent years, leading many to believe the new phone will exceed the previously set record of $999 for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Reports indicate that Apple likely will introduce a more expensive “Pro” Max version that would land between $1199 and $1300 with the standard Max model averaging closer to the $999 to $1100 range.
It is also likely that Apple will introduce some more affordable models at lower price points. Rumors suggest one such model would cost around $750. Such a model would likely lack some of the more sophisticated features that come with the Max variants.
The higher end models are likely to boast a few notable features that justify their increased cost. One report claims that Apple may equip their new flagship with a display technology known as ProMotion. This would allow for a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering an incredibly smooth-looking image.
Furthermore, these top-tier models are anticipated to feature Apple’s new 5nm processor that’s allegedly 50 percent faster than the iPhone 12’s.
When all is said and done, we can expect the new iPhone 13 lineup to cover a broad price range from around $750 to $1300. Pre-registration for the new device could begin as early as late summer, with the actual release landing sometime in the fall.
