Drawing a bow can be a fun and relaxing activity once you learn how to do it. This guide will teach you the basics of drawing a bow with some helpful tips along the way.
Materials Needed:
• Pencil
• Paper
• Drawing eraser
• Ruler
Steps:
Start by finding the middle point of your paper with a ruler. Mark this spot with a pencil. This is the point where you will draw the center of the bow.
Using your ruler and pencil, draw two arcs that connect at the middle point you made. The length of the arcs will depend on how large of a bow you would like to make.
To make the loops of the bow, draw a curved line connecting the top and bottom of each arc.
Add a curved line to the center of the bow to make the knot of the bow tie.
To give the bow a finished look, fill in the loops and knot with a solid black line.
Erase any excess pencil lines.
Tips:
• Think about texture when drawing – try adding some shading or lines to make the bow look more realistic
• Experiment with different bow shapes – you can make the loops bigger or smaller depending on the look you want
• Drawing bows can be tricky – don’t be discouraged if it takes some practice to get the bow just right!
Drawing a bow can be a fun way to express your creativity. Keep practicing and you’ll be able to make beautiful art in no time!
