Drawing a gnome can be both easy and hard, depending on the level of detail you want to add. However with some patience and practice, anyone can learn how to draw a gnome.
To begin, draw a circle and then draw a vertical oval on top of the circle. This will form the face of your gnome. Next, draw two triangle shapes as ears and add small lines inside the ears to make the shape appear three-dimensional.
Draw a curved line for the bottom of the face and draw two more lines connecting the ears to the face. This will form the hair of your gnome. Draw a curved line for the nose and two small circles for eyes. Add eyebrows, making them oversized so that it appears cartoon-like.
Then draw two lines coming from the nose and mouth area, which will be the mustache and beard. Draw small rectangles in various sizes and shapes around the beard and mustache to create the fur. Before you move on, take a look at your art and try to make any adjustments.
Draw a cap by connecting two unevenly sized joes and adding small lines to create texture. Add a small symbol at the center of the cap to complete the look.
Finally, draw two small feet and hands on either side. Add some lines and shading to create a three-dimensional effect. You can also add small details to your gnome, such as buttons, a small hat, and/or a walking stick.
Once you feel your gnome is complete, your art is finished. With some practice, you can create charming and detailed gnome drawings.
