Drawing a toilet may seem like a simple task but it does require quite a bit of skill and practice to get it just right. To help you make an accurate toilet drawing, here are some easy steps to follow.
Step 1: Draw an Oval shape for the main body of the toilet and for the bowl, draw it about four times bigger than the original oval shape.
Step 2: Draw a slightly curved line across the bottom part of the oval. This line will create a lip of the toilet bowl.
Step 3: To create the seat, draw a curved line above the bowl going in a horizontal direction and fill it in with a solid line. On the left-hand side, draw a semi-circle while the right-hand side is slightly slanted.
Step 4: Draw two vertical lines to separate the toilet seat from the lid. At the top, draw an arch to represent the toilet lid.
Step 5: From the arch draw two lines coming downwards on each side to create the handles. Then draw a curved line at the bottom going up and around to connect the two lines.
Step 6: Roughly sketch the inside of the toilet bowl by lightly drawing a few oval-shaped lines at the bottom of the oval.
Step 7: Connect the oval with a curved line to separate the insides from the porcelain exterior and erase any extra lines.
Step 8: Go through the rest of the toilet design and add details. Don’t forget to add the flushing handle and other decorations that you want.
Step 9: Outline the whole toilet design with a black pen or marker to make it more vivid and bring out the different details. You can also add color or shading to the toilet if you want.
Step 10: And finally, erase all the visible pencil lines to finish your drawing.
You have successfully drawn a toilet! Drawing a toilet doesn’t require advanced drawing skills and it’s relatively easy for even a beginner to master it. And with practice, you can create more and more realistic looking toilets.
