Are you trying to learn how to draw Pikachu, the cute and lovable character from the Pokémon series? Drawing Pikachu can seem intimidating at first, but it is actually quite simple once you break it down into basic steps. With some patience and practice, you’ll be able to draw Pikachu with ease.
Step 1: Start by drawing two circles overlapping each other. One circle should be larger than the other. This will be the basic outline of Pikachu’s head.
Step 2: Draw two curved lines, one on either side of the circles. These will be the basic outline of Pikachu’s ears.
Step 3: Draw an oval within the smaller circle for Pikachu’s eye. Inside the oval, draw two small circles for the eyes and an "X" shape for the irises.
Step 4: Underneath the oval, draw a curved line for Pikachu’s nose.
Step 5: Draw two small lines for Pikachu’s cheeks and a curved line near his mouth.
Step 6: Draw a curved line underneath Pikachu’s eye for the whiskers. Draw a curved line near the chin for the mouth.
Step 7: Draw two curved lines on either side of the head and two circles on the bottom for Pikachu’s arms.
Step 8: Draw two curved lines under Pikachu’s arms for the hands and two ovals for the thumbs.
Step 9: Draw a curved line at the top of Pikachu’s head for the lightning bolt-shaped tail and add two thin curved lines inside it.
Step 10: Erase any unnecessary lines and draw two curved lines near the hands for the legs.
Step 11: To finish up the drawing, add small details such as stripes, fur, and claws.
Congratulations! You have now successfully drawn Pikachu! With a little bit of practice and some patience, you can draw even more characters from the Pokémon universe.
