Eevee is one of the most popular and powerful Pokémon in Pokémon Go. This charming creature can evolve into not one, but eight different types of Pokémon. One of the most beloved evolutions of Eevee is Umbreon. This dark type Pokémon has become a fan favorite due to its intimidating appearance and useful skills.
If you want to evolve Eevee into Umbreon in Pokémon Go, then you’ll need to follow some simple steps.
First, you’ll need to collect enough candy for Eevee. You can obtain candy for Eevee by catching wild Eevees, exchanging items at PokéStops or gyms, or completing certain missions. When you have enough candy for Eevee, you can use it to power up your Eevee to level 25. This will make Eevee eligible for evolution.
Next, you’ll need to give Eevee a special name before you attempt to evolve it. Specifically, you’ll need to nickname your Eevee either “Tamao,”” Sakura,” or “Mokoko” before tapping that evolve button. Doing so will guarantee that you’ll get an Umbreon instead of the other evolutions available to Eevee.
Finally, you have to feed Eevee a special item to complete the process. This item is called the Sinnoh Stone and can be obtained by completing certain field research tasks or by spinning the photo disc at a PokéStop or Gym. Once you have the Sinnoh Stone, you can use it to evolve your leveled up and specially named Eevee into Umbreon.
Evolve that Eevee of yours into an Umbreon today and you’ll get the powerful dark type Pokémon you’ve always wanted. Good luck on your adventures!
