If you want to find the slope of a line, there are a few different ways to go about it. Firstly, you can find the slope using the Distance Formula. This involves substituting the coordinates of two points on the line into the formula, and then calculating the slope. Alternatively, you can use the Slope Formula which involves calculating the slope using the differences in the x- and y-coordinates of two points on the line. Finally, you can find the slope by using the rise over run method, which requires finding the vertical rise of the line between two points, and then dividing it by the horizontal run of the line between the same two points.
No matter which method you choose to use, the most important step is to try and accurately identify two points on the line which you can use to calculate the slope. Often, this can be done by simply inserting the line’s equation into the x or y axis, or by pinpointing two points that the line passes through. Once the points have been identified, the slope of the line can be calculated using whichever method you are most comfortable with.
