Start by separating your hair into three sections. Make one section thicker than the other two.
Begin by taking the thicker section, and then cross it over the middle one.
Repeat this step with the thinner sections. Doing this will begin to create the French braid.
Take a small piece of hair from the side nearest to you, and add it to the thicker section.
Now, cross the thicker section over the middle one again.
Repeat this step with the other side, adding a small piece of hair to the thinner section.
Continue to cross the thicker section over the middle one, and each time take a small piece from either side, adding it to the thicker section.
After repeating steps 4-7, secure the braid with an elastic or hair tie.
