Cooking hard boiled eggs is a simple task that can be done using a variety of methods and tools. There are several methods available, but the two most common are on the stovetop or in an electric cooker. Here are instructions on how to hard boil eggs.
Stove-top Method
Fill a medium-sized pot halfway with water. The goal is to have enough water in the pot to fully submerge the eggs.
Add in your eggs, ensuring that each egg is fully submerged.
Cover the pot and bring the water to a rolling boil.
Remove the pot from the heat and leave the eggs to sit for about 10 minutes.
When 10 minutes have passed, carefully remove the eggs from the pot and place them in a bowl of cold water to stop them from cooking.
Electric Cooker Method
Fill the electric cooker with enough water to fully submerge the eggs.
Place the eggs in the water, ensuring that each egg is completely submerged.
Close the lid and set the timer to 10 minutes.
When the timer goes off, carefully remove the eggs from the electric cooker and place them in a bowl of cold water to stop them from cooking.
Let them sit for about 10 minutes before you peel them.
