Margaritas are one of the most popular cocktails in the United States. This classic drink was invented in the city of Tijuana, Mexico, but it has since become a staple of modern-day cocktail culture. Whether you’re looking for something to do on a pleasant summer night or just want to impress your friends, what better way to do it than with a homemade margarita? Here’s how to make your own perfect margarita.
You will need:
Step One: Start by taking your tequila and triple sec, and mix them together. Fill a highball glass with ice, and pour the tequila-triple sec mixture over the ice. Add the lime juice, then use a spoon or muddler to mix the ingredients together.
Step Two: Take the two lime wedges, and rub them along the rim of the glass. Take a shallow dish, and spread some salt on the bottom. Using the salted rim, gently dip it into the salt and press to make sure it is thorough.
Step Three: Slowly strain the prepared margarita mixture into the glass, and garnish with the two remaining lime wedges. Enjoy your freshly made margarita!
Making the perfect margarita is not as hard as it may seem. With the right ingredients and directions, anyone can make a perfect margarita for themselves or for their guests! Enjoy!
