We all know that bacon is the king of breakfast meats. But did you know that it’s incredibly easy to make bacon in the oven? Whether you’re cooking for one or two people or a crowd, oven-baked bacon is a delicious and easy way to start your day.
To get started, you’ll need several strips of bacon, a baking sheet, and some aluminum foil. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Then, line your baking sheet with aluminum foil and lay out the bacon strips. Make sure you leave enough room between slices so the bacon doesn’t overlap. Place the baking sheet on the center rack and bake the bacon for 15-20 minutes.
While your bacon is cooking, it’s important to check on it every few minutes. You’ll want to use a pair of tongs to flip the bacon strips and rotate the baking sheet so the bacon cooks evenly. This will also help prevent it from burning.
Once the bacon is crisp and golden brown, remove it from the oven and transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Allow the bacon to cool for several minutes before serving.
Enjoy your bacon with your favorite breakfast foods or use it in a delicious sandwich or wrap. With the ease of oven-baked bacon, you’ll never go back to pan-fried bacon again!
