Barbecue sauce is an essential part of any grilling or barbeque session. Whether your preference is for a sweeter, mild or tangy version, with just a few simple ingredients, you can make homemade barbecue sauce in no time.

In a medium saucepan, add the ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
Once boiling, reduce heat to low and stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and Dijon mustard.
Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Once sauce is thickened and flavors have developed, use an immersion blender or transfer to a blender and blend until smooth.
