Making waffles is a great weekend activity that everyone can enjoy. With a few basic ingredients and a waffle iron, you can indulge in traditional breakfast favorite with just a few easy steps. Here’s how to make waffles:
Ingredients
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 eggs
• 1 3/4 cup milk
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat your waffle iron to the desired setting according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and melted butter until fully combined and creamy.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until everything is just blended. Do not over-mix.
Grease the waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray, vegetable oil, or butter.
Pour 1/2 cup of the batter onto the center of the preheated iron, using a ladle.
Close the iron and bake for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
Use a non-metallic spatula to remove the waffle from the iron.
Serve hot with your favorite toppings: maple syrup, butter, fruits, etc.
Enjoy your homemade waffles!
