If your Amazon Firestick remote is not working properly, resetting the remote is one of the greatest solutions to try. Resetting the remote will help clear all the cache and data stored and help you regain back its original functionality. Here are the steps to reset Amazon Firestick remote.
Step 1: Make sure you power off all the connected devices, unplug the power button of Firestick and wait for few minutes.
Step 2: After few minutes go ahead and press the Home button, Back button, and Rewind button, on your Firestick remote at the same time.
Step 3: Keep holding the buttons until all the LEDs light up, then press and hold the Home button for seven seconds.
Step 4: After seven seconds release all the buttons.
Step 5: Pair your Firestick remote again by pressing and holding the Home button for few seconds.
Step 6: Now on your TV screen click on “Pair Remote”.
Step 7: After you press on “Pair Remote”, you will be taken to a new page, press and hold the pairing button that is found below the Fire TV device.
Step 8: When the remote is paired, your Amazon Firestick will be automatically reset and you should be able to use it normally from now on.
