Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, are among Great Britain’s longest-serving monarchs and have four children: Prince Charles, Prince Edward, Princess Anne and Prince Andrew.
Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, is the eldest son of the Queen and the heir to the throne. Although he and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, have no children of their own, his two sons from a previous marriage are in line to the throne after him. Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, is the eldest grandchild of the Queen and is currently second in the line of succession. He is married to Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and they have three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, is the youngest grandchild of the Queen and is currently sixth in the line of succession. He is married to Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and they have one son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, is the Queen’s youngest son and is currently eighth in the line of succession. He is married to Sophie, Countess of Wessex and they have two children, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn.
Princess Anne, the Queen’s only daughter, was born in 1950 and is currently 13th in the line of succession. She is married to Timothy Laurence and although they do not have any children of their own, Anne has two children from her previous marriage to Captain Mark Phillips: Peter Phillips, also known as Peter, and Zara Phillips.
Prince Andrew, Duke of York, is the Queen’s third child and is currently eighth in the line of succession. He is married to Sarah Ferguson and they have two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
