The Eternals are an ancient race of powerful cosmic beings in the Marvel Universe. They were created by the Celestials, an extra-dimensional race of powerful cosmic entities, billions of years ago.
The Eternals were created to serve as a balance to the Deviants, another race of powerful cosmic beings. They were created at the same time on Earth but are very different from humans, having near-immortality and god-like powers.
The Eternals possess a variety of superhuman physical attributes. Their strongest traits are the ability to manipulate matter and energy, telepathy, psionic powers, and telekinesis. They also have the capacity for flight and superhuman strength, speed, and durability.
The Eternals are kept in an eternal cycle of death and rebirth; when a member dies, another is reborn to take their place. With their near-immortality, the Eternals have been alive since the dawn of time, although many of them have died and been reborn in various forms since.
The Eternals were featured in Marvel’s 2019 movie, The Eternals. The movie follows the story of Sersi, a member of the Eternals, as she and her fellow Eternals battle against their age-old enemies, the Deviants. The movie is set to be released in November of 2020.
The Eternals will also play a major role in Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series, What If…?. They will also be featured in Marvel’s upcoming movie, Thor: Love and Thunder.
The Eternals are an ancient race of powerful cosmic beings who have watched over the Marvel Universe for billions of years. With incredible powers and near-immortality, their legacy is sure to live on in Marvel stories for many years to come.
