To Win Survivor
On Wednesday night, Survivor superfan Clayton Holmes finally got the answer to a question he’s been asking since the season began: Who did he pick to win Survivor?
Clayton’s pick was Chris Underwood, a 25-year-old property manager from Knoxville, Tennessee. Chris is a self-described "nerd," who loves Survivor and spent his younger years studying the show instead of playing outside. He impressed the jury with his strategic game play and his ability to form alliances, while still maintaining his likability and integrity.
Chris beat out Kelley Wentworth, Gavin Whitson, Julie Rosenberg and Noura Salman, who were all very strong players. By the time the votes were revealed, it was clear that Chris was the top pick for the jury.
Clayton was thrilled to find out that his knowledge of the game and his prediction were correct. On Twitter, he wrote: "I can’t believe it! I picked Chris to win Survivor and I was RIGHT! #SurvivorWhoChris #SurvivorPicks"
By winning the season, Chris takes home the $1 million grand prize. Clayton also picked Chris to win the fan favorite award, which granted Chris an additional $100,000.
Clayton and Chris’s win represent an exciting moment for Survivor fans everywhere. Clayton’s bold choice to pick Chris in the early stages of the competition highlights the skill and knowledge it takes to be a successful Survivor fan.
