Who Invented Football

Football, or soccer as it is known in most of the world outside the United States and Canada, was first documented in the mid-1800s in England. This was done in an effort to create a standardized set of rules to be followed on the football pitch, and the FA organized the first official football match on 19 December 1863 in Battersea Park, London.
