The 91st Academy Awards, presenting the highest honors in the film industry, will be held on February 24, 2019 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
For the third year in a row, comedian and actor Kevin Hart will host the Oscars, which recognizes the film industry’s brightest stars, filmmakers and technical contributors. The show will be broadcast live on ABC Television.
Kevin Hart, who gained worldwide popularity in action comedies such as “Ride Along” and “Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle”, is no stranger to the Oscars, having hosted the 2012 MTV Movie Awards and several other award ceremonies in the past.

The show will include performances from various musical acts expected to be announced in the coming weeks. A wide range of film categories will also be featured, including best picture, best actor and actress in a leading role, best musical or comedy and best foreign language film, among others.
The Oscars will also recognize the world’s most influential films and movie makers, culminating in the grand finale of the Academy Awards. So, keep an eye out for Kevin Hart’s hosting of the 2019 Oscars, as it promises to be an exciting night to remember in Hollywood.
