Joe Buck is one of the most iconic voices in sports broadcasting. He has been the play-by-play announcer for the World Series on FOX since 1996, making him the longest-serving announcer in Series history. Buck also serves as a studio host for NFL on FOX and has covered every major sporting event.
Buck grew up in St. Louis and began his career in journalism at the age of 14 on his hometown radio station, KMOX. His big break came when he followed in the footsteps of his father Jack, one of the legendary voices of the Cardinals to become announcer for the baseball team in 1992.
Buck is one of the most versatile and accomplished sportscasters of our time, covering professional football and baseball, Olympic events and the Super Bowl. He was named the National Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association in 1999, 2002 and 2006.
In addition to his work with FOX, Buck is also a host of “Undeniable with Joe Buck” on AT&T U-Verse, a documentary series featuring the stories of some of the most accomplished athletes, celebrities and coaches in history.
Buck is the only son of Hall of Fame sportscaster Jack Buck, and is married to former FOX reporter Michelle Beisner. Together they have a son, Tristan, and a daughter, Natalie.
No matter what sport is being broadcasted, Joe Buck can be counted on to bring his expertise and passion to the air. His commitment to excellence dedication to his craft have made him one of the greatest voices in sports broadcasting for over two decades.
