Meatloaf is a Grammy-nominated American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actor. Robert "Meat Loaf" Martin Krovitz, better known as Meatloaf, is a veteran singer-songwriter from the United States who has sold millions of records. Born on September 27th 1947 in Dallas, Texas, Meatloaf rose to fame in the mid-1970s with his classic rock opera, "Bat out of Hell." With a unique voice and a knack for dramatic rock ballads, Meatloaf has transcended musical boundaries, becoming an international superstar.
Meatloaf has released dozens of albums over the course of his career, including the Grammy-nominated classic "Bat out of Hell" (1977), "Dead Ringer" (1981), and "The Very Best of Meatloaf (2003)." His collection of greatest hits and enduring ballads continue to make Meatloaf a household name. The extraordinary singer and songwriter has also appeared in numerous television and film projects, including "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" and "Wayne’s World."
