Who Is Mr. Bean?
Mr. Bean is a popular character created by British actor and comedian Rowan Atkinson. The character first appeared as part of a comedy show on ITV in 1990 and has since been featured in two feature films (1997 and 2007). He is known for his visual humour and his tendency to get into trouble due to his childish, naive attitude.
Over the years, the character has been featured in many different series and specials, as well as merchandise such as books, board games, video games, and even soft toys. Mr. Bean lives in a small London flat with his teddy bear, and is known to have a love for all things unusual and fast moving. He also enjoys writing letters, playing board games, operating remote-control cars and taking out his mini, even though he always ends up getting into trouble.
Mr. Bean is also very savvy when it comes to marketing. He’s had his own animated series (2002 – 2004), which was nominated for multiple daytime Emmys. The character has also been featured in several product endorsements over the years, including those with Volkswagen, Kellogg’s, and Apple, among others.
