Rab is a character in the Harry Potter book series. He is a classmate of Harry Potter’s and is a member of Slytherin House. Rab is a big fan of Quidditch, and is known to always be looking out for a good Quidditch match. He is also an avid fan of the Slytherin Quidditch team, cheering them on and offering support.
Rab is a member of the Slug Club, a secret gathering of professor Snape’s favorite students. He is described as being a good-natured individual, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer information when it is needed. He is also loyal to his House and always stands up for what he believes in.
Rab first appears during the Triwizard Tournament sequence. He helps to create a distraction for Harry and Ron as they search for the entrance to the maze in order to win the Triwizard cup. He also helps to battle the inferi in the lake for the Triwizard trophy during the climax of the book.
In the later books, Rab is shown to be a good friend to Harry and stands up for him in many instances. He eventually becomes a prefect and takes on a more responsible role in the House.
Rab is not one of the main cast members of the Harry Potter series, but he plays an important role in the story as a loyal friend and supporter of the protagonists. He is an example of the many minor characters that help to make the Harry Potter books enjoyable and memorable.
