Who Is Sarada’s Real Mother

In the hit anime series Naruto, Sarada Uchiha is an orphan who is kept in the dark about who her real parents are. Although she is adopted and raised by Sasuke Uchiha, many fans of the series wonder whether or not Sarada is the biological daughter of Sasuke and his former teammate, the late Sakura Haruno.

Throughout Naruto, fans, as well as Sarada, anxiously awaited to find out who her real mother was. After much speculation, Sarada officially met her biological mother in the Boruto episode "Naruto’s Prologue – The Miraculous Birth of Sarada". Upon learning the truth, Sarada became emotional, claiming that, even if she and her mother had not spent enough time together, she was grateful for all the sacrifices her parent had made for her.

Sarada’s mother is revealed to be Sakura, a young medical-nin who was a former teammate of Sasuke’s. Years before Sarada was even born, Sakura harbored a deep love for Sasuke and stayed devoted to him despite their complicated relationship. By the start of the series, the two were married and living together.

Although Sakura was known for her kind and delicate nature, she was also incredibly powerful and courageous, as seen in her fight against Shin Uchiha. Despite having the odds stacked against her, with Shin having the power of Sage Mode, Sakura refused to back down. As a result, Shin respected Sakura as an individual, claiming that she was worthy of her role as a mother.

Throughout the series, both Sakura and Sasuke showed great love and affection towards Sarada. Not only did they do their best to provide adequate care, they also went out of their way to help Sarada in any way they could, even if it took a rather dangerous toll on their own wellbeing.

The bond between Sakura, Sasuke, and Sarada is strong and unique. Although Sarada was adopted, Sakura and Sasuke show her nothing but love and dedication and treat her as if she were their own biological daughter.
