Who Is Savitar In The Flash

Savitar is a fictional character, a supervillain appearing in comic books published by DC Comics, primarily as an antagonist of the superhero Flash. Created by writers Mark Waid and Oscar Jimenez, the character first appeared in The Flash vol. 2, #108 (April 1996).

Savitar is a speedster, similar to other characters with similar powers in the DC Universe, such as the Flash, Zoom, Professor Zoom, and Rival. Savitar’s origin is a mystery, with several theories, but he is one of the first (if not the only) speedsters that predates the concept of the speed force. He most recently appeared in The Flash TV series, portrayed by Tom Felton, who gave the supervillain a darker and more menacing portrayal. In his most recent comic book appearance, Savitar entered a new age as the God of Speed, causing chaos and destruction in his wake.
