If you’re an avid foodie and hot sauce connoisseur, you may have noticed a certain face that has been appearing on hot sauce bottles over the past few years. This face belongs to Dani Meyer, a Southern California native turned hot sauce model and brand ambassador – but there’s more to her story than meets the eye.
Meyer, who goes by the nickname “Hot Sauce Girl,” has been featured in more than two million bottles since 2017 when she first became the face of Baron’s Best Damn Hot Sauce. She has since modeled for other popular hot sauce and condiment brands such as The OY Sauce, Cholula Hot Sauce, Pizza Paul’s, Rustic Q’s and many others.
Meyer’s rise to fame began when she started working in the food industry, which eventually led her to become the marketing director for Baron’s Best Hot Sauce. It was during her time here that she was asked to be the face of the brand. As she worked, she also did freelance modeling on the side, and as people began to recognize her face on the hot sauce, she started to gain more traction as a model.
When asked what her success means to her, Meyer said she gets to help small, quality hot sauce businesses build a name for themselves while being part of a food movement that she is passionate about. She also loves the feeling of being part of something that she can’t help but be passionate about.
Even though Meyer is busy, she still finds time to make hot sauce at home and often experiments with various spices and flavors. In fact, she’s already got a line of unique sauces called Mountain Mama, which she created with a group of hot sauce-loving friends.
Meyer considers herself a hot sauce aficionado and loves talking about it with anyone who will listen. Clearly, her passion and enthusiasm for hot sauce have paid off – so if you’re ever in need of hot sauce inspiration, look no further than “Hot Sauce Girl.”
