Who Killed Roger Rabbit, a question that has been on many people’s minds since the release of the movie Roger Rabbit in 1988. The movie’s story centers on a world where cartoon characters and humans co-exist, but not without some tragic consequences. The journey begins when Eddie Valiant, a detective, is asked to investigate the death of Marvin Acme, an important figure of the cartoon world. While investigating, Eddie discovers that someone has been engineering a complex conspiracy which could put an end to the peace between the cartoon world and the human one.
Despite the complexity of the mystery, the answer to who killed Roger Rabbit has finally been revealed. It turns out that a toon named Judge Doom, who was the main antagonist of Roger Rabbit’s world, was behind it all. Judge Doom was a toon weasel who had a huge hatred for cartoons and had been plotting to take down Acme and create an amusement park of horrors built over their remains. He used a dangerous concoction of invisible ink and turpentine, aptly named “The Dip”, to dissolve toons and created an elaborate plan to use it against Acme.
The plan was successful, but Roger Rabbit was able to save the day. When Judge Doom finally caught up with him, he managed to shoot Roger with a gun containing a vial of The Dip. Unfortunately, it didn’t work as well as he thought, as Roger was able to duck out of the way and avoid the brunt of the blast. However, the vial still caught onto Roger’s fur and Jacket and he eventually was killed by the potion.
The death of Roger Rabbit was a sad moment for many movie go-ers but his death managed to bring the story’s events to a close and gave the viewers some sense of closure. Judge Doom’s plans were thwarted and the peace between the cartoon and human worlds was restored.
Through Roger Rabbit’s death, we have been able to finally answer the question “Who Killed Roger Rabbit?” It was none other than Judge Doom, a toon weasel, whose hatred for cartoons had finally become too strong and caused him to act rashly and bring about the movie’s conclusion.
