The question of who made God is one of the oldest and most controversial questions of theology. According to religious beliefs, God is believed to be eternal, all-powerful, and the creator of everything. But if God is infinite and eternal, as some believe, then who created Him?
Several famous theologians have attempted to answer this question. According to Augustine of Hippo, God is self-existent, meaning He has always been in existence and was not created. In the Christian tradition, God is understood to be an eternal being with no beginning and no end. Another popular answer is that God is the “unmoved mover”, meaning that He was the first cause of all movement and action in the universe.
In some Hindu systems of thought, God is believed to be the uncaused cause of all that exists. The Upanishads describe God as one without a second, meaning He has no other cause. In other philosophical systems, such as the Eastern Orthodox tradition, God is seen as the “Uncaused Cause”, the ultimate source of all being and non-being.
The fact is that the answer to who made God is one that most religious and philosophical systems cannot definitively answer. This is because the concept of God is both mysterious and infinite, and no one can truly understand the nature of God or how He came to be. As such, it is left up to individual belief and interpretation.
